TLIF
Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion
The Globus TLIF portfolio is designed to provide the ability to reproduce workflows from open to less invasive posterior approaches. Our portfolio offers access paired with disc prep, a comprehensive suite of interbody spacers designed for sagittal alignment and fusion, and versatile fixation systems and enabling technologies to accommodate various styles and techniques.
Access
Minimally Invasive Access
As the MIS access component of our TLIF portfolio, the NuVasive Tube System (NTS) is engineered to elevate surgical workflow through efficient, controlled positioning and optimized access. Our tubular offering is complemented by our full suite of decompression and discectomy instruments to provide a comprehensive solution for TLIF, decompressions, and discectomies.
Access with MAS™ TLIF
Our MAS™ TLIF 2 system offers similar advantages to open TLIF through a less invasive approach, designed to provide the added benefit of less tissue disruption and therefore potentially less postoperative pain and quicker recovery. The access system is complemented by a suite of disc prep instrumentation options, designed for precise bone and tissue removal.
Access with Open TLIF
The Open TLIF Distractor is a simple yet powerful tool for creating segmental height restoration via modular and preassembled pedicle screw distraction. The system enables both bilateral screw placement and unilateral screw placement, with or without navigation.
Interbody Spacers
Outcome-Driven Interbody Spacers
The Advanced Materials Science™ and expandable interbody spacer portfolio is intentionally designed to help restore sagittal alignment and encourage fusion.
Expandable Technology
Our comprehensive expandable solutions are designed to help to reduce anatomic disruption through insertion at a contracted height, and restore and preserve sagittal alignment.

SABLE™
SABLE™ is an expandable posterior lumbar interbody spacer with 3D-printed titanium endplates designed to minimize endplate disruption, maximize sagittal balance restoration, and optimize fusion with in situ bone graft delivery.

ALTERA™
ALTERA™ is an articulating expandable TLIF spacer designed to increase disc height, restore lordosis, and maintain sagittal balance. It features integrated articulation at a minimal height to facilitate placement within the anterior disc space.

RISE™ IntraLIF™
RISE™ IntraLIF™ is an innovative percutaneous expandable lumbar interbody spacer designed to achieve traditional fusion goals through an 8.5mm inner diameter cannula. By leveraging extraforaminal access and visualization through the IntraLIF™ procedure, the RISE™ implant expands in situ to optimize fit within the disc space.

RISE™
RISE™ is an all-titanium expandable lumbar interbody spacer designed for posterior approaches such as TLIF or PLIF. It is inserted at a contracted height to minimize impaction and preserve endplate integrity, and continuously expands up to 7mm to help restore disc height.

CALIBER™
CALIBER™ is an expandable interbody spacer designed for a posterior lumbar approach. It is inserted at a contracted height and expanded in situ.

MLX™
MLX™ addresses unique biomechanical loading and lordosis requirements by expanding to the dimensions of an ALIF interbody spacer, helping to optimize stability and maximize endplate coverage.

TLX™ 20°
The TLX™ 20° implant is designed for anterior column stability and restoration of sagittal alignment with up to 20° of customizable oblique lordosis from a posterior approach.
Advanced Materials Science™
Proprietary surface and structural interbody technology is designed to enhance the osseointegration and biomechanical properties of implant materials while providing optimized options for sagittal alignment, offered in porous PEEK and porous titanium.
Porous PEEK offerings:

Cohere™ TLIF-O
Cohere™ TLIF-O is a posterior porous PEEK implant solution designed to promote bone ingrowth while maintaining the inherent biomechanical and imaging properties of PEEK. Lordosis in the oblique plane is engineered to maintain disc height and coronal alignment while helping to restore sagittal balance.

Cohere™ TLIF-A
Cohere™ TLIF-A is a posterior porous PEEK implant solution designed to promote bone ingrowth while maintaining the inherent biomechanical and imaging properties of PEEK. Cohere™ TLIF-A is engineered for anterior column support for sagittal alignment correction.
Porous Titanium offerings:

Modulus™ TLIF-O
Modulus™ TLIF-O is a posterior porous titanium implant designed to provide a favorable environment for bone ingrowth while enhancing radiographic visualization compared to traditional titanium interbody spacers. Modulus™ TLIF-O is engineered to support lordosis in the oblique plane to maintain disc height and coronal alignment while helping to restore sagittal balance.

Modulus™ TLIF-A
Modulus™ TLIF-A is a posterior porous titanium implant designed to provide a favorable environment for bone ingrowth while enhancing radiographic visualization compared to traditional titanium interbody spacers. Modulus™ TLIF-A is engineered for anterior column support for sagittal alignment correction.

HEDRON P™
HEDRON™ spacers feature a biomimetic porous scaffolding designed for bone formation onto and through the implant. HEDRON P™ implants are available in a wide range of footprints and two lordotic profiles to fit individual patient anatomies and aid in sagittal balance.

HEDRON T™
HEDRON T™ is a 3D-printed TLIF spacer featuring a biomimetic porous scaffolding designed to encourage cellular response and promote bone formation onto and through the implant.1
