There is a risk of postoperative implant-related complications if the loads in a long construct are not properly distributed, commonly observed in the proximal end of the construct where kyphosis occurs. Our portfolio includes posterior banding for use above the upper instrumented levels, hooks that can be implanted at the proximal end of constructs for non-rigid stabilization, tapered rods, as well as rod-to-rod connectors paired with the appropriate rod diameter and material modulation.
