Product Overview

NVM5™ combines intraoperative neuromonitoring (IOM) and other enabling technologies into a single platform, specifically designed to support the unique requirements of spine surgery. Capabilities include nerve avoidance and navigation, nerve monitoring and instrument navigation, spinal cord monitoring, peripheral sensory nerve monitoring, computer-assisted rod bending technology, and intraoperative angular assessment tools.

Features and Benefits

Multimodality Monitoring

NVM5™ modalities include stimulated electromyography (EMG), free-run EMG, motor evoked potentials (MEP), somatosensory evoked potentials (SSEP), transabdominal muscle action potential (TMAP™), and computer-assisted surgery applications.

Rod Bending and Alignment

The NVM5™ rod bending system is used to create customized rods that are bent exactly to implant locations, expediting manual rod manipulation via computer-assisted bend instructions. When used in conjunction with iGA™ Assessment—which enables intraoperative assessment of various patient anatomical parameters— the system can help to facilitate informed sagittal rod bending to assist in alignment restoration.

Seamless Procedural Integration

NVM5™ enables Globus procedures, including XLIF™, MAS™ TLIF 2, and MAS™ Midline, as well as open procedures and anterior and posterior cervical procedures.
