Product Overview

MLX™ is designed to be inserted through a conventional transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (TLIF) approach. The implant addresses the unique biomechanical loading and lordosis requirements of the lower lumbar spine by expanding to the dimensions of an anterior lumbar interbody fusion (ALIF) graft, helping to optimize stability and maximize endplate coverage.

Features and Benefits

Expanding Aperture

Expandable ALIF-sized footprint from a posterior approach.

Biomechanical Stability

Optimized stability with unilateral screw fixation, comparable to a traditional TLIF cage with bilateral screw fixation and ALIF cage with anterior plate.1

Integrated Graft Delivery

One multi-functional instrument to insert, expand, and post-pack the implant within the disc space up to 13cc.
