Skin-to-Skin® Program Overview!

Skin-to-Skin® Series

Skin-to-Skin® Programs feature cadaver-based learning with a procedurally-focused application of Globus Medical technology from start to finish. Under the guidance of experienced spine surgeons, Skin-to-Skin® Programs are designed to optimize hands-on learning. Low faculty-to-attendee ratios and a typical 1:1 surgeon-to-cadaver training environment allow for focused skill-set enhancement. Surgeons interested in advancing their current practice are encouraged to participate.

Training Opportunities

Skin-to-Skin® Preceptorship

The Skin-to-Skin® Preceptorship is an ideal way to learn complex MIS techniques (LLIF or TLIF) through one-on-one training. What makes the Skin-to-Skin® program so unique and distinct from other programs is the peer-to-peer learning with experienced surgeons who have performed numerous MIS procedures. This two day program includes one day of surgical instruction followed by a second day of one-to-one cadaveric training. (Depending on Location)

Day 1: Surgeon attendees will observe and learn selected procedure(s) from start to finish, including patient positioning, access, approach, imaging and fusion techniques.

Day 2: The procedures are replicated in a cadaveric learning environment to help solidify the learning experience.

Programs are available in various locations throughout the United States. To learn more about participating in a Skin-to-Skin® Preceptorship please fill out the form to your right, or contact us by email at:
